On Aug **rd I placed an order for Zurich fabric lounger with two manual recliners in beige colour by hometown on Pepperfry, order no ********* the order was confirmed and the delivery was promised between **-**th September on the website. I opted for merchant Emi and the first EMI also got deducted. The product was not delivered also no intimation about the delivery dates was updated in the website, after several calls to the “worlds worst and damn rude “ customer service stated that the product will be delivered by October ** also received email confirmation on the same. However, on the website it still showed delivery times lines between **-**th September even on October *. On October *rd i received an email stating order cancelled and refund initiated without any reason mentioned. No confirmation from customer was taken for cancellation and refund. When i called to check the same the representatives were very rude and gave misleading information. No thorough background was done before cancelling the product. One of the representatives accepted that it was their mistake that they initiated a refund and nothing can be done.
Pepperfry is giving incorrect information that the product has been cancelled by merchant which is hometown however on Oct *th I received a message from hometown that the product is ready for dispatch. When I called and enquired on the same i was informed that the product has been picked up by Pepperfry and they will deliver the product.
I waited over a month and i wish to receive the product.
