I finally became a victim of an awful, pathetic and worst service I got from Pepperfry.com. I shopped * products together on *th July **** for approx Rs. ***** in one go & out of which faced issues with * products. I ordered * bean bags of XXXL size & received such a small bean bag on which even a kid can't sit. It was like a baby sofa. When I called to complain they shamelessly told me straight away that they can't provide a replacement as do not have the XXXL size & without even checking from someone raised the return of the product and refunded the amount. I also ordered a Bolton king size bed from Pepperfry.com worth **,*** on *th July **** itself & received an incorrect product on **nd July. The image of the product ordered on the website shows it has hydraulic suspension but the product delivered has no hydraulics. I have called Pepperfry numerous times & shown them the parcel box pic for the bed image with my complaint. I spoke to two managers Sonu & Shalu who has confirmed the issue but didn't turn back. The first manager Sonu confirmed that I got the incorrect product over the call and said she will call back tomorrow but never called back. The second time I called up for a manager they said I will get call back in ** hrs. But the next day I got an email from Shalu that she tried calling me but couldn't reach me when my phone was on & was in my hand. Then I got a call from her asking me to send the pictures of the bed. Now I don't know how logical is it to ask such a question to the customer when they know its a bed and it still needs to be assembled first. In short bunch of illiterates filled in this company. Still, I sent them the picture of the bed image printed on the box she asked for which clearly showed the incorrect product delivered. After listening to my complaints about **mins Shalu asked me to be on hold and disconnected my call and never called back. I waited for a week for someone to call back and called up the third time. I was again been asked to wait for another **hrs for a manager call back and this time I did not get any call but an email from Mona stating.
"I have reviewed the details of your service request and can confirm that the item delivered to you is as per the Item specifications mentioned and reference images provided on the pepperfry.com item details page." which is not correct.
The product received is not as per the images provided on the product ordered and can still be viewed under my order on pepperfry.com so its a breach of your policy itself from pepperfry.com & legal action is applicable here.
Now I am feeling highly disappointed and cheated and left with an incorrect bed which is still packed and eating space in my house from last * month. But I won't sit quiet and will post my complaint on every possible online forum.
