In March ****, I reserved and paid ***$ for a room for my colleague in Le Castle River Hotel and apartments, Phnom Penh, Cambodia.
He was to fly in from India to Cambodia with a transit at Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia but on **th March **** India closed its borders for international flights and he could not take the flight. (copy of ticket and confirmation of return of funds on the “non-refundable ticket” as the flight was cancelled ).
I contacted a few times the support section of Agoda on return of the funds as we could not arrive for reasons beyond us. They inform that the hotel reservation is valid and if we cancel it all funds would be lost as per the booking there is no return of funds against cancellation of booking.
My colleague wanted to visit Cambodia on business but after two years the proposition is dead and he has no reason to visit Cambodia. Please return the funds paid.
