serious grievance regarding my recent experience with Croma Jamshedpur store, which involves:
Part *: Deficiency in Service During Purchase
I purchased an LG refrigerator from your store on **rd May ****. The purchase experience was extremely distressing. My father and I were made to wait outside the store gate for an extended period while awaiting the invoice, drawing unnecessary attention and humiliation. When I raised this concern, I was initially accused of fabricating the incident. Only after repeated requests to review CCTV footage did your staff acknowledge the issue and offer an apology, assuring that such behavior would not recur.
Part *: Unauthorized Service Request and Potential Data Breach
Subsequently, a Service Request (SR) was raised without any consent or initiation from my side, falsely stating that the product was not working. This raises serious concerns of a data breach and unauthorized access to my personal information.
I demand a written explanation addressing the following:
Who raised the service request and on what grounds?
When and how was this request initiated?
Why does the SR claim the product is faulty when no such complaint was made by me?
This incident caused repeated calls while I was driving, nearly resulting in two traffic accidents. This is not only a breach of privacy but also a serious safety hazard.
Part *: Harassment and Unprofessional Conduct
I received a call from a female representative of your CSD team who dismissed my earlier complaint (dated **–** May) and accused me of dishonesty. When I requested to speak with someone else, the second individual displayed complete indifference and an unprofessional attitude, even when I mentioned potential legal action for data breach.
Additionally, I contacted your Store Head Manager, Mr. Aakash, at **:** AM today and shared all relevant details. Despite this, no response has been received from his end, which is highly disappointing and unacceptable.
Relief Sought
Given the above, I hereby demand:
A written explanation addressing all the points mentioned above.
A formal apology from the concerned staff and store management.
Compensation for the mental harassment, safety risk, and inconvenience caused.
Immediate assurance that my personal data is secure and has not been misused.
Please treat this as a final notice before I initiate formal legal proceedings under the Consumer Protection Act, **** and relevant provisions of the Information Technology Act, **** for data breach and harassment.
