I had purchased two air conditioner (AC) units from Amazon India on **nd September ****, for a total amount of ₹**,***.**.
As per the order details, the products were supposed to be delivered by *st October ****. However, the items were not delivered on time. One tracking ID was provided, but only for one of the two units.
I contacted Amazon Customer Care, who informed me that the package was “stuck in transit” and would be delivered in a few days.
Despite this assurance, no delivery took place.
Consequently, I cancelled the order a few days later.
I received the refund for one AC unit, but the refund for the second unit has not been credited to my account till date.
I reached out to Amazon Customer Care again on **th October ****, and was informed that the refund was “stuck” and would be credited within three days. However, even after repeated follow-ups, no refund has been processed.
Amazon has failed to both deliver the goods and issue a complete refund, despite multiple assurances and delays beyond their own stated timelines.
My money, amounting to ₹**,***.**, has been withheld for over a month without justification.
I was deprived of the opportunity to purchase the required goods elsewhere during major festive discounts.
The repeated interactions with Amazon’s customer support have been tedious, time-consuming, and unproductive, causing mental distress and inconvenience.
