I placed an order ( Top * in * Magnetic USB Charging cable) on Amazon India on the **th of August and was supposed to get it delivered on the **rd of September. On the *rd of September, I received a message saying my item will be delivered that day. I didn't get a call nor did the message that I received provided me the delivery agent's phone number. A few hours after I got the message I received another message saying my order has been attempted to be delivered and will be attempted again but I didn't receive any call from the delivery agent. Later in the evening I received a notification on my amazon app that my item has been delivered. I was surprised as I didn't get a call. I checked with my family members and none received it. I went ahead and contacted amazon customer service and they said that If I don't get it by the *th of September I should contact them and they will help me with a refund or replacement. I didn't get my order on the *th so I contacted amazon customer service. I was told that the delivery service that was used to deliver my item was a third party courier service "Delhivery India" and I was given a link to their webpage and to enquire from them. I tracked my order but it says that "We could not fine this order with us. Please check the waybill/order ID entered" despite me inputting the correct order ID number amazon gave me. I didn't hear from Delhivery India since then. I then contacted amazon customer service again and I was told that since my order initially was supposed to be delivered on the **rd of September, I should wait incase it gets delivered and if I don't I can get a refund or replacement. On the *th of September, I got a call from an Executive customer relations and the person told me that they'll be looking into it and would get back soon. A week later I didn't get any response so I contact amazon customer service once more and found out that a specialist is handling my issue. On the **th of September I got a mail from another Executive customer relations replying on behalf of the previous one saying that they have contacted transportation service and that my order has been successfully delivered and that they won't be able to help me get a refund or a replacement. I replied asking them for the courier service deliver agent's number and name so I can file a police complaint as I never got a call but I didn't get a response.
