I booked a villa for * nights for my wife and me in goa from makemytrip which showed it had pool and other amenities and the villa ina very good condition which was clearly misrepresented and completely opposite when i enetred the villa. One of the primary reasons for selecting this property was the availability of a private pool . However, upon arrival, I found that the pool tiles were broken. This was not disclosed anywhere in the listing and i was informed to be carefulw hile using the pool as the broken tiles can hurt my leg , i am on a vacation if someone tries to scare me by saying that no one would want to take a chance for that .

In addition to this, there were several other issues with the property, including but not limited to:

Poor maintenance and hygiene standards, there were ants all over the kicthen , TV was not functionional, water problem , door doesnt get closed, dirty towels and lenin .
Facilities were not matching the description provided on MakeMyTrip
Overall substandard experience compared to what was promised
I immediately raised this issue with the property owner, who explicitly acknowledged the problem (including the broken pool). Despite this acknowledgment, the owner has refused to provide any refund or compensation, which is both unfair and unacceptable. i then complained to Makemytrip regarding all this and they on my *rd day of stay they come up with a ****rs refund as a token for all the hardship we faced for last * days.

This situation reflects not only negligence on the part of the property owner but also raises serious concerns about the verification and listing standards maintained by MakeMyTrip. My * days in the villa was completely ruined and my experience from booking with MMT and seeing their support service.
