Just wanted to bring to your information, one of my horrifying experiences with Make My Trip. I was planning an official trip to Ludhiana from **th February **** to **nd February **** so, as usual, I put in all my details and tried searching for a hotel. I found out Hotel Onn and made the payment of Rs. *,*** through my HDFC Card and Rs. *** through my MMT Wallet, on **th February at around *.** a.m., Booking id was NH************ and transaction id was **********. Whereas I received a message saying that booking is not yet confirmed so I called up your customer care and after speaking (on **th February ****) with one of their executives I was assured that the payment will come back in *-** working days. And I need to make a fresh booking. As suggested by their team, on **th February at around **.** a.m., I once again initiated payment of Rs. *,*** through HDFC Card and Rs. *** through MMT Wallet, booking id was NH************ and transaction id was **********.
Now this time also I received the same message saying that the booking is not yet confirmed. Now the first thing I did, I cancelled my Air India flight from Delhi to Chandigarh (it was corporate booking and ***% refundable), which was on the **th morning and I can share the cancel voucher copy with you. And in this whole time, I tried interacting with their agents, you can check the ticket id. Ticket No. ********** on **nd February, Ticket ********** on **th February and Ticket ********** on **th February, Ticket ********** on **th February. Apart from this I called up their customer care and spoken with them and also had a chat with Myra two more times which you can crosscheck. Now my worst nightmare happened on **th and **st February at **.** am and *.** p.m when I received an acknowledgement of payment of Rs. *,*** and Rs. *,***. While I immediately checked my MMT account (through mobile app) one of my bookings got confirmed. That means both of the payments got deducted and when I cancelled my trip to Ludhiana as there was no confirmation I received the acknowledgement of payment texts and that too on **th February.
How can a person reaches Ludhiana from Delhi in such short notice, I used to receive Confirmation voucher through Whatsapp and email and this time I received no prior intimation. I also received a call from hotel ONN in Ludhiana on **st February but I told them also that they can release my bookings as I am not travelling due to no prior intimation. Also, I was so desperate to speak with any of their executives for which I was assured, in each and every chat with Myra but disappointedly I never ever received any call back from your their agents. That is actually annoying and frustrating.
That was one of my horrendous and pathetic experiences with MakeMyTrip. I would request you to look into this matter on an immediate basis and help me get a refund of my entire amount which is Rs. *,*** and Rs. *,*** plus Rs. *** and Rs. *** (MMT Wallet).
