- Flight tickets cancelled at the last moment without consent ^Closed

I had booked three tickets from Mumbai-London for the *th of September **** (booking date ** June) via make my trip. I am a student who will be pursuing a masters course at UK. After paying a gruesome amount of college tuition fee, visa fee and accommodation fee, I had collected each penny that was left to pay for these * international flight tickets through make my trip. On *th of July, i received a message out of nowhere from make my trip saying that my tickets had been cancelled and that they are processing my request (which I never initiated) for a refund. After receiving this shocking news, I tried contacting the customer care officials of make my trip (who by the way are the most inefficient bunch of lazy people). Instead of acting on my problem, they kept me stalling and bounced my call from one operator to another, like a bloody football. Each time I called, I was put on hold for about ** minutes and when I did get to talk to the officials, I was told to wait, wait and then wait some more. It has been the most ridiculous * days of my life. The make my trip officials do not respond, they didn't let me talk to their supervisors nor did they revert back with useful information. Now, I got a message from make my trip saying that I have been refunded **% of the money that I had paid for the tickets; implying, that they didn't even bother to look into my case, they just kept me waiting and did what they had to anyways. I understand that now I will have to re-book my flight tickets for a price which is * times more than the initial amount. I have also tried reaching out to make my trip via facebook and twitter, but there too, they have told me to wait. I do not understand how an internationally renowned organisation can treat their regular customers in such a shitty manner. Where am I to get that kind of money now? I have lost so much of money, time, sleep and most importantly, mental peace over this unnecessary issue. I demand justice and a complete financial recovery. I am hoping that this forum helps me deal with this troublesome time and helps me get justice.
