Grievance Description:
I am filing this complaint against Godrej Appliances for a severe deficiency in service and failure to honor product warranty.
I purchased a Godrej Air Conditioner * months ago. On July *, ****, I registered a service request (SR No: ********) due to continuous water leakage from the indoor unit inside my room. On the same day, Godrej sent an automated SMS promising that Engineer Hemant would attend to the complaint on July *, ****.
However, no technician has visited my residence for the last * days. During this period, I received multiple follow-up calls from Godrej customer care giving false commitments that the technician would arrive "tomorrow." When provided with the assigned technician Hemant's phone number, he avoided my calls after asking me to wait. Customer care has continuously shared dead or unresponsive alternate numbers rather than solving the issue.
As of today, July *, ****, the issue has escalated drastically: the AC has completely stopped cooling altogether, indicating a severe internal technical defect or refrigerant leak alongside the water drainage blockage.
Due to continuous neglect by Godrej, my walls are facing potential water damage, and I am enduring extreme inconvenience during peak summer.
Relief Sought:
Immediate deputation of a senior technical supervisor to fix the indoor leak and total cooling breakdown.
If the product cannot be fixed immediately, a complete replacement of the unit under active warranty.
