I booked hotel through makemytrip on **th Nov **** and paid Rs ***** by citibank credit card.Hotel booking was from *th Feb to **th Feb ****. For unavoidable reasons, I have to cancel my hotel booking with makemytrip on **th Dec ****. It was duly cancelled by makemytrip on **th Dec and refund was processed and it was mentioned that refund amount Rs ***** is remitted to Citibank for credit of my credit card account on **th Dec and refund was processed and amount was estimated to be credited in my credit card account between *nd to *th Jan. On **th Jan,**** and testerday on phone, Citibank has confirmed that refund amount is not received by them for credit of my credit card account. On taking up the matter with Ritu Sharma of makemytrip, her contact No.****** *****, manager team-customer delight, she confirmed yesterday also that my refund amount of Rs ***** is not sent to Citibank and she is following up the matter with accounts section of makemytrip . She is, since last ** days, informing me that she is following up the matter with accounts section but no clear cut reply when my refund amount of Rs ***** will be remitted to Citibank is given by her. Refund was expected to be created by *th Jan in Citibank bot makemytrip does not release my refund amount at all.
