I am seeking your assistance regarding a dispute with NoBroker related to their Guaranteed Tenant Plan which I purchased on **th October ****. I paid Rs. **,***.** for the Guaranteed Tenant Plan, which promised to provide a tenant for my property within a specified timeframe. If NoBroker failed to find a tenant, they guaranteed a full refund of the charges.
During an onboarding call with NoBroker's customer support, I explicitly mentioned that I required a monthly rent of at least Rs. **,***, with the security deposit being negotiable. I also emphasized the importance of these criteria for proceeding with the plan.
Despite my clear communication, NoBroker's team did not demonstrate sufficient initiative in finding tenants. I had to personally show the property to prospective tenants multiple times, as the team was unable to make it on time. After several viewings, they were still unable to secure a tenant, and I eventually found one on my own.
Upon requesting a refund due to their failure to provide a tenant, NoBroker denied my claim, citing a mismatch between the security deposit I stated and what was mentioned in my tenant agreement. They claimed I had requested a security deposit of Rs. **,***, whereas the agreement only states Rs. **,***.
The reason given for rejecting my refund is inaccurate. During my phone call with their support, I explicitly mentioned that the security deposit was negotiable. I also have a recorded copy of this conversation. If the support executive entered incorrect details, I cannot be held responsible for those errors.
I am entitled to a full refund, as NoBroker failed to fulfill their commitment. Additionally, the denial of my claim based on an incorrect security deposit amount appears unjustified so I need full refund.
