My charger started having issues on */*/** and so i contacted Lenovo on */*/** They told me to claim it under Accidental Damage Protection even though there was no damage. On */*/** they sent a motherboard replacement even though I was pretty sure the adapter was faulty. Their technician tried the new motherboard but that did not fix the issue. Afterwards he called his supervisor who asked him if the adapter had damage to which the technician clearly said there was no damage, the pin and adapter was fine. He told me to contact the toll free number again and they will replace it. On calling the "premium care" number they told me the service report mentions the charger was damaged and they wont cover that under Accidental Damage Protection or the warranty.
I bought an extended warranty last year because the Lenovo saleswoman told me the adapter is also covered and will be replaced if needed. Lenovo either lied to me during the sale or right now during the repair.
