- Story book ordered but not rceived ^Open

Dev Sahitya Kutir Pvt. Ltd. having its address at **, Jhamapukur Lane, Kolkata-****** is a renowned publication house of Kolkata, West Bengal publishing Bengali magazines and story books. I liked one story book titled "Nabakallol ** bachharer galpa sangraha, part-*". Due to restrictions imposed due to covid** pandemic, I could not visit any book shop and therefore ordered the same online through the publisher company's website - "www.devsahityakutir.com". For this purpose I paid Rs.***/- (the amount demanded online) on **/*/**** through net banking and the payment receipt was received by me by email. Copy of the same attached as annexure. However, no information was sent to me by the company regarding the dispatch and delivery of the book details. When I did not receive the book or any information about it, I sent an email at the email ID given in the money receipt - "dskorder@gmail.com" on **/*/**** requesting the company to send the details. Copy of the mail as sent by me is attached as annexure. But the company neither acknowledged nor sent any reply. On **/*/****, I then called in the landline number given in the company website-***********. The person answering the call and of the concerned department told me that they have received the money and already dispatched the book by post and assured me that I will received it within *-* days. But till date I have not received it. I sent two more emails, one on */*/**** and the other on */*/****. The one sent on */*/**** in the email ID "dskorder@gmail.com" (given in money receipt as referred to me above) and the one sent on */*/**** in the email ID "orders@devsahityakutir.com" (given in the company website). But the company did not acknowledge or replied to any of them. In the said emails, I had also informed them that if I do not receive the book or money already paid refunded by */*/****, I shall file complaint with consumer forum. There was no response from them. Copies of all the emails are attached herewith.
I therefore wish to formally lodge complaint with consumer forum and demand the refund of amount of Rs.***/- paid by me along with legal expenses incurred by me for this purpose.
