- Set top box not replaced ^Open

On *st September, I raised a ticket on d*h via mail to change my remote as my remote was not working. I was assured that a service engineer will visit me within * working hours and a message was also received stating that an engineer will visit within next ** hours. But to my astonishment, no one visited to resolve the complaint. After two days, I called again to find out that my complaint has been closed that too without any intimation to me. I again raised a ticket regarding the same issue, but no action was taken. I again repeated the same process for the third time and again the same thing happened. I then raised a request through JustDial on *th September and next day I got a call from a service engineer named Avijit. He visited my home that evening and after inspecting he reported of faulty set top box for which he said that the set top box needs to be replaced and asked for some advance as the charge for set top box replacement was Rs *** (as said by the engineer). I paid him Rs *** (including Rs *** service charge). He assured me that he will replace the set top box by *th morning. I waited for him till *th evening and then called him as there was no information of him. On calling him, he said that he was busy that day so he will be visiting the next day. Next day he said that "today is holiday, i will be visiting tomorrow", that too after calling him repeatedly. Next day he said that the set top box model is not available, so he is waiting for the model. He seldom picks the call and whenever he picks the call he is ready with some excuses. And after that day he is not receiving the call. On **th, I made a call from another number, and as expected the call was picked up by him. On learning that I was on the call, he quickly disconnected it. And since then I am calling him regularly but he is not responding to anyone of them. From last ** days I am unable to use the connection but i am getting charged for the same. Its a pain that my complaint is not getting resolved despite of me informing them several times. Also, whenever I call the d*h corporate office, every time they forward my call to their seniors and my calls automatically gets disconnected after being on hold for more than half an hour. One or two times they told me that i will get a callback within * hours, but till now i haven't got any. As a proof I have all the call recordings and the complaint messages. The whole process has caused me mental anguish.
