- Scammed by Xiaomi ^Open

Dear Sir / Madam,
I had raised a complaint for repair of my Redmi TV under warranty. The complaint no. was M*******. After * days followup the technician visited on *th at around *.**PM and then after checking he said that the panel needs to be replaced. So I asked them to replace the panel under warranty as the warranty for panel was for * years. The TV was purchased by me from amazon on **sept **** and the * years warranty get over on **th Sep ****. But the technician took the pictures and left. Then for past * days did not receive any update from Xiaomi so I called them to check the status that time I was being told that my complaint is being rejected saying that the customer is not ready with the estimated repair. Whereas I did not receive any calls for repair estimate. So I informed them the same thing then they said we have raised your complaint to grievance department and you will receive update. But till * days I just received messages saying that your complaint is being forwarded to L*, then L* and then L*, but no action was taken. So I then put a negative comment on Xiaomi official facebook page (Screenshot attached) after some time I received a reply on my comment saying that I am Mr. Sumant Khanna regional head and please provide me with your contact number in order to assist you. So I provided my contact number and then I received a call from him on next day. I briefly described him the whole scenario and said that no worries your issue will be resolved please allow some time. Then he again called me saying that you will be provided with replacement of the Product you just need to pay Rs. **** towards replacement charges. So I made the payment for the same. Then I was told that due to all the inconvience caused to you company is providing you Redmi note ** *g phone you just need to pay Tax i.e. Rs. **** so I made payment for the same. I was also being provided E-invoice copy for both the product (attached) and was being informed that both the items will be delivered to you by today or tomorrow. But the next day I was not able to contact the Regional Head Mr. Sumant Khanna and till date his phone is coming switched off. So I again put comment on Xiaomi official page stating that how can anyone access your official page and contact anyone saying that he is regional head this is the lack of security by Xiaomi due to which I got scammed. So it is my humble request to the Hon’ble bench to take necessary action against the same and do the needful.
