Respected Sir/Madam,
I would like to lodge a formal complaint against Portronics regarding their failure to provide a replacement or refund for a defective product purchased by me.
Despite raising a complaint within the warranty period and completing all required formalities, the company has neither replaced the product nor issued a refund. Instead, they informed me that the product is out of stock and offered a gift voucher, which I clearly declined as it does not provide a fair resolution.
However, I have verified that the same product is currently available for purchase for my pincode on their platform. This clearly indicates that the claim of stock unavailability is misleading and unjustified. It appears that the company is deliberately avoiding its responsibility and causing unnecessary harassment.
I have made multiple follow-ups, but the issue remains unresolved. This behavior amounts to deficiency in service and unfair trade practice.
I request the Consumer Forum to kindly take necessary action against Portronics and direct them to either:
Provide a replacement of the product, or
Issue a full refund of the purchase amount
Additionally, I request that appropriate action/penalty be imposed on the company to prevent such practices in the future.
I am attaching all relevant documents, including invoice, complaint details, and email communication, for your reference.
