Respected Sir/Madam,
I wish to file a complaint against MakeMyTrip for their failure to process my flight ticket refund despite multiple follow-ups. The details of my case are as follows:
• Booking Reference: NN*A*XOV***********
• Booking Date: **th September ****
• Travel Date: *st October ****
• Destination: Bengaluru to Frankfurt
• Ticket Cost: ₹**,***
Due to a medical emergency requiring surgery, I was unable to travel. I canceled my ticket by contacting the MakeMyTrip support team and provided all necessary medical documents to substantiate my claim. While I was informed that only a partial refund would be processed, I requested a breakdown and confirmation from the airline regarding the refund amount.
Despite my repeated attempts to seek clarification and updates, I have not received any response or resolution. This lack of communication and delay in processing my refund has caused me significant mental stress and financial inconvenience.
I kindly request the Consumer Forum to:
*. Direct MakeMyTrip to process my refund immediately.
*. Provide clarity and justification regarding the partial refund policy for my ticket costing ₹**,***.
*. Compensate for the distress and inconvenience caused by their negligence and poor service.
I am attaching all relevant documents, including the booking confirmation, cancellation details, medical records, and previous communication with MakeMyTrip, for your reference.
I request your esteemed authority to take necessary action to resolve this matter.
