I purchased return tickets for my COK-DXB trip from MakeMyTrip on ** Jan ****. On ** Feb **** I got an email from the Airlines (SpiceJet) that my flight from Cochin to Dubai, scheduled for ** March ****, had been cancelled and that I could either book alternate flights or ask for a full refund.
When I checked for alternate flights on the SpiceJet site, there weren't any available. So I had to opt for the full refund and book another flight. I just asked for a full refund because the Cochin to Dubai flight was cancelled but my return ticket was still valid.
SpiceJet has authorized a refund of Rs.*,***/- to the agent MakeMyTrip. Thereafter, I informed MakeMyTrip about the full refund that was allowed by SpiceJet. However, MakeMyTrip refused my request for a refund and closed the complaint. Now I am unable to raise the same issue through their customer service.
