I am filing this complaint against Kwabey for deficiency in service, unfair trade practices, and wrongful retention of my funds.
I had placed an order on the Kwabey platform, which I subsequently cancelled within the allowed time. However, despite cancellation, the refund has not been credited to my original payment method.
Instead, the status shows “wallet transfer pending” for several days, with no clear timeline or resolution. I would like to explicitly state that I do not consent to receiving the refund in the Kwabey wallet. I require the refund to be credited back to my original bank account/payment source.
The company is unnecessarily holding my money and attempting to redirect it into their wallet system without my consent. This is unacceptable and amounts to unfair trade practice and unauthorized retention of customer funds.
As per standard consumer protection principles and RBI guidelines, refunds must be processed back to the original payment method within a reasonable time. The continued delay and lack of proper response from customer support have caused me inconvenience, financial stress, and loss of trust.
Despite repeated follow-ups, no satisfactory action has been taken by the company.
I request the following resolution:
*. Immediate refund of the full amount to my original payment method (bank account)
*. No transfer of funds into the Kwabey wallet without my consent
