Respected Madam/Sir,
I booked a flight ticket from Guwahati to Pune on **th March ****, I found a website www.travolook.in while searching for a travel agency on google chrome browser. I booked a ticket, * minutes after booking I missed * calls from the number ***********, while calling them back they said my ticket has been cancelled and the money will be refunded. I received an email thereafter from support@travolook.in, they mentioned the cancellation of my ticket and said the amount will be refunded. It has been * days now, and I have not received any money.
I came to know it was a fraud website and I have been scammed when I visited their website again and checked their Instagram and YouTube handle, their posts were flooded with comments from people mentioning the same situation that I have been facing, I got worried and searched the entire internet from youtube, instagram, facebook, I found a lot of people have been scammed through this website. However they are still active, Their phone calls, email and website and other social media handles are all active. Please look into the matter ASAP, when they are still active.
I have reported the issue on National Cyber Crime Reporting portal (Acknowledgement Number : **************) and has provided some screenshots and details of this agency, on true caller the number seems to be from Gurgaon, India
I am a student from Tezpur, Assam. I am pursuing my college degree from pune.
My father is a retired pensioner, I was supposed to go to my college on **rd March, as the lockdowns are lifting. But I have been scammed, and this is ***% sure that they are fraudsters. Please Madam/Sir Help me and many of us who have been a victim to this travel agency.
