I had visited one property suggested by No Broker in Chennai and the No broker representative continuously pressurized me to pay the booking amount for that property even though I informed him that I need to consult with my family. The representative assured that he'll refund the amount in case my family didn't like the property.
Next day I informed him my family didn't like the property and he promised to initiate the refund process. On further follow up he informed me that he sent the mail for refund and it will take two days. On subsequent calls he said the same thing and this continued for one month and finally he stopped responding my calls.
Then I called No Broker Customer support, and they wasted another two months by asking me to send mails and transferring calls here and there. Finally On September **th(** days after payment) they rejected my refund claim. Below are my grievances regarding this:
• They are withholding my money for the service they had not provided and the money itself was paid due to the continuous pressure from their representative.
• Even though their representative called continuously and multiple times to pay the amount and promised me to pay the refund in case not interested. To reject my refund, they are taking one statement by their representative out of the context and rejecting every other thing he said in the call.
• Even though they promised me of refund, they kept me waiting for around three months and rejected the refund causing me huge time waste and mental stress.
• No broker's process is not transparent and very much corrupted, that they don't give proper tracking for the amount paid, no timelines for refund process, and their representative making false claims.
