There was significant negligence from the lab collection phlebotomist, he did not clean the wound properly after drawing blood, did not provide a band-aid and drew blood from unconventional location on the side of my elbow. He forgot to put up a band-aid after as well. This has caused severe nerve damage, an internal vascular infection and bruising that is getting worse day by day leading to loss of sensation and tingling in right arm. Had to go to the emergency room on Sunday.
The phlebo showed up *.* hours late after repeated calls, making me late for work. Did the sample collection in a hurry, after I had to leave for work he took advantage of me not being around, convinced my husband to get more unnecessary tests done, and had him pay extra, with double payment done that we then had to get refunded with customer support.
