Dear Sir,
I am jointly holding a mediclaim policy No.MFH************* with my mother of Royal Sundaram General Insurance since ****
Last **.**.**** my mother became ill and first admitted to Basu's Nursing Home, Siliguri and later on shifted to Anandalok Nursing Home, Siliguri and remain there till **.**.**** Instead of recovery her medical condition was worsen and we've to again shifted her to N.B.Medical College, Siliguri where she was unfortunately died due to food poison.
I applied for medi-claim which was rejected due to so called age discrepancy.
My question: *.Why was they not ask for ID/age proof documents before during those ** yrs period?
*.Before that they have settled three claims (gall bladder surgery on **** and two cataract surgeries on **** & ****) without asking for any documentary proof of my mother.
*.PAN card & Adhar card of my mother were issued much after the policy inception date in **** Before that she did not any age proof. Hence there was mistake which was overlooked by us.
