I applied for a loan of Rs. ***,*** (one lakh) with Reliance Finance Limited. I received a call today asking me to pay the amount of Rs.**** (three thousand six hundred) as processing charge, after which they will transfer the loan.They whatsapp me account details. However upon checking online, I learned that it's not reliable and there are complaints about it. I, therefore did not process the payment and sent an email to cancel the loan.
I have thereafter received multiple calls from the said person who is now threatening me saying that the EMI has started and they will be taking it directly from my bank account monthly. And also that they have my AADHAR and PAN card information and will take action.
Kindly tell me how to proceed now. I have not made any payment and have not received any amount.
I would like the company to remove all my information from their database including bank account number and IFSC code.
