I am writing to file a formal consumer complaint against Nykaa Fashion regarding the purchase of a bag priced at Rs. ****, made on the date of **/**/****. I am deeply dissatisfied with the product, and despite my attempts to return it, the company has denied my right to do so, leaving me feeling frustrated and cheated.
The primary reason for my dissatisfaction is the bag's strap, which is unusually small, making it uncomfortable to carry on my shoulder. The bag fails to meet my expectations in terms of comfort and functionality, making it unsuitable for regular use.
When I contacted Nykaa Fashion's customer service to request a return, I was informed that the bag does not fall under their return policy. However, when I tried to initiate the return process through their app on the very same day I received the product, the app falsely indicated that the *-day return window had already expired, which is not the case. This discrepancy raised concerns about the company's commitment to consumer rights and transparency.
Furthermore, I noticed that the same product from the same brand is returnable on other platforms like Myntra, which leads me to believe that the company's return policy is inconsistent and unfair.
Despite numerous attempts to resolve this issue by reaching out to their customer care via phone and chat, I have received no satisfactory response or resolution from Nykaa Fashion. As a responsible consumer, I believe that I have the right to return a product that does not meet my expectations or is defective, especially when it involves a significant purchase like the one in question.
It is disheartening and unjust that I am being denied this right for a product priced at Rs. ****, and I am left with no option but to escalate this matter to the appropriate regulatory authorities. I am willing to take this step to safeguard my interests and protect the rights of other consumers who might face similar challenges in the future.
I kindly request your immediate attention to this matter and urge you to investigate the company's practices and policies. I hope that my complaint will prompt the necessary actions to rectify this situation and ensure that consumer rights are upheld and respected by Nykaa Fashion.
