Uber has not responded to the actual issue raised in my multiple previous complaints. I have clearly stated in my complaint that whoever is booking a Uber ride and taking the route from Delhi to Faridabad (Via Badarpur), Uber is charging double toll amount by naming a single toll (Badarpur - Faridabad Toll) with * different toll names and charging twice for every ride. This is rampant cheating that they have been indulged in since many years and cheating thousands of commuters on a daily basis who is availing Uber services and taking this route. I am also one of those among thousands of commuters who have been taking this route with Uber and on all occasions, they have cheated me by charging double amount. Just to give you details of a few such rides, I have attached ** files of such ride receipts where they have charged me wrongly. These receipts are just a few sample ones and are for a period of over last * and a half years. Look into the receipt details and Uber's cheating of customers will get highlighted. Just imagine the amount Uber has made for its company if you consider the number of riders who take this route daily with Uber. Coming to the resolution they have given on my previous complaint, they have just said that they have refunded the extra toll charge for one of those rides. Does their onus end here? I have placed multiple complaints on their App in writing as well as verbally to their customer care agents. They listen to my complaints and just say that they will forward my complaint to the relevant department. Despite highlighting the wrongdoings of Uber through my complaints several times, they haven't stopped cheating customers till date. They are still charging customers double the toll amount. This is a clear example for the government authorities where they should suspend/cancel Uber's licence. For grievance redressal authorities, they should heavily penalize the company for their wrongdoings. As far as my loss is concerned, they should refund the entire toll amount which they have charged me wrongly on all such trips which I have taken with Uber. I have more than ** such receipts of those trips where they have charged me double the amount. They should check in their system and retrieve all such trips take by me. I have attached a file under which ** such receipts are available. Also, they need to confirm that they have fixed the bug in their App through which they are charging double the amount.
