Dear Team,
I am writing to formally escalate my highly unsatisfactory experience regarding my vehicle booking at Mahindra Shiva Akshardham.
It has now been over **+ days since my booking, despite an initial committed delivery timeline of four weeks, with **st January communicated as the first Committed Production/Delivery Date (CPD). Unfortunately, even after this significant delay, I still do not have a confirmed delivery date.
What is particularly concerning is the continued lack of clarity, accountability, and proactive communication from the dealership’s sales team. I have already escalated this issue to the Sales Manager, Sales Head, and General Manager, yet the responses remain vague and non-committal.
The dealership has indicated that the delay is from Mahindra & Mahindra rather than their end. However, from a customer’s perspective, such internal coordination issues should not translate into prolonged uncertainty and inconvenience.
Over the past several weeks, I have repeatedly been given rolling updates of *–* days, without any definitive resolution. The situation has reached a point where I had to personally visit the dealership to seek clarity, yet the matter remains unresolved.
It is disappointing that after choosing Mahindra, the entire burden of follow-ups has fallen on the customer, with little proactive communication from the brand or dealership.
Based on the original commitment, I had planned to take delivery of the vehicle in time for my daughter’s birthday, followed by another important family event and the Holi celebrations. The continued delay reflects a clear lack of ownership and customer sensitivity from both the dealership and the brand.
As a customer who placed trust in Mahindra, this experience has been extremely frustrating and disappointing.
I therefore request the following on priority:
• A written and confirmed delivery date (not another tentative CPD)
• A transparent explanation for the delay
• An appropriate compensation or goodwill gesture for the prolonged inconvenience and breach of commitment
If this matter is not resolved promptly, I will be constrained to pursue further escalation through consumer grievance platforms and public forums.
I look forward to your urgent intervention and resolution.
