I hope this communication finds you well. I am writing to formally file a complaint against EaseMyTrip for deceptive practices and the denial of a refund on a flight booking made through their platform.

Departure: Delhi to Amsterdam
Return: Rome to Delhi
Deceptive Practices:
During the booking process, [EaseMyTrip] explicitly stated that the reservation was refundable. However, upon reaching out to their customer support, I was informed that the booking is non-refundable and then again when we sent them the evidence that we had by chance taken - they reverted back saying its partially refundable.
Evidence of Deceptive Practices:
Attached screenshots from the booking process clearly showing the representation of a refundable ticket.
Communication with [EaseMyTrip] support team for denial of a full refund.
Comparison with Other Platforms: "Yatra"
Colleagues who booked similar tickets through Yatra have received a full refund, indicating a disparity in refund policies.
Requested Action:
We would want to check on the proper refund possible for return flight of rome to Delhi
Review and Investigation:
I kindly request the Consumer Protection Authority to thoroughly review the attached evidence and conduct an investigation into the deceptive practices employed by [EaseMyTrip].
Resolution:
I seek the intervention of the Consumer Protection Authority to ensure [EaseMyTrip] honors the initially communicated refundable status or provides a fair resolution.
Preventive Measures:
Request the Consumer Protection Authority to take necessary actions to prevent [EaseMyTrip] from engaging in such deceptive practices in the future.
