i purchased sharp *.* ton window ac (model- af-a**rt) from swastik electronics (mobile no. **********), ** ranbir market, jammu vide invoice no. gst-sw-*** dated june **, **** for rs. *****/-. on installation/checking, it was found that the swing machine of the ac is not functioning. the same was brought to the knowledge of proprietorswastik electronics, who advised to make complaint with sharp customer care.
*. on june **, ****, i complained to sharp customer care (no. ***********), vide complaint no. ******, who assured to rectify the same within ** hours. despite my repeated calls to customer care, no action has been taken so far.earlier, i was provided mobile number of shri jatinder singh (+************) as he was looking after the customer care complaints of j&k area. on june **, ****, shri jatinder too showed his inability to send any mechanic as they are not having tie up with any service centre at jammu. lately, on june **, **** i was provided a mobile number of local service centre by shri jatinder but the proprietor informed that they are not having any tie-up with sharp and are looking after the work of heir. however, on my personal request and giving the reference of shri jatinder, he sent his mechanic for checking the ac and informed that the motor of the said ac is not working and needs replacement. the same was informed to shri jatinder telephonically by the undersigned. shri jatinder informed that he would be writing to delhi office for new motor.
*. despite number of reminders, telephonically and through e-mail, no action has been taken to replace the swing machine. the ac is under warranty period and the seller (sharp) has breached the warranty terms by not replacing the faulty motor.
