Complaint

*. That I purchased an LG Dishwasher worth ₹**,*** from Sonovision Electronics Pvt. Ltd. on [Date of Purchase].


*. That after the purchase, I contacted the authorized service team of LG Electronics for installation of the product. However, the technicians denied installation, citing the reason that the water hardness level in my area is high.


*. Neither the seller nor the manufacturer had informed me before the purchase that such a condition exists for installation.


*. Even after the purchase, neither the installation guide nor the user manual provided with the product mentioned any such restrictions relating to water hardness.


*. This amounts to deficiency in service and unfair trade practice, as I have spent ₹**,*** on a product that cannot be installed and used, due to non-disclosure of essential preconditions.


*. I have approached both the seller and the manufacturer, but neither has agreed to resolve the issue or provide any suitable solution.

Reliefs Sought

I therefore request the Hon’ble Forum to kindly direct the opposite parties to:

*. Either install the dishwasher at my premises without imposing unreasonable conditions or refund the entire amount of ₹**,*** with interest.


*. Pay suitable compensation for mental agony, harassment, and inconvenience caused to me.


*. Pay the litigation cost incurred for filing this complaint.
