- Amount deducted but Transaction Failed Closed

This is very disappointing to share with you that I have made a payment of amount Rs. ****/- on dt. **th July **** to BMC Holding Tax dept. (Govt. of Odisha) through Google Pay service link with my SBI Account. After making the payment message came to me by showing the transaction is successful & the amount deducted from my account but the transaction is failed in the Govt. portal & no receipt generated.
By checking with Google Pay customer service they said that the amount paid successfully from their end. But the BMC Holding tax dept. has not received any payment. For this reason I am writing to you, kindly check & confirm whether the amount is paid or not paid. If not paid, kindly arrange to refund the amount at the earliest possible.
