Name of the product: Protoner * in * Orbitrack Elliptical Bike Dual-Action Stationary Exercise Bike. Date of purchase: ** September **** Date of product delivery: ** October **** Date of replacement request: ** October **** The delivered product had a faulty front base (where the twister is attached) and the product has to be self-assembled by the customer. As per the seller invoice, I tried contacting them multiple times over the telephone between ** Oct to ** Oct. This was done in good faith so that only the faulty part can be replaced instead of replacing the entire product. The seller did not receive the calls. Therefore, I placed a replacement request on the Flipkart website. The request was accepted. Flipkart assured that the faulty product will be picked up on ** Nov and the new product delivered on ** Nov. When the product was not picked up on ** Nov, I contacted Flipkart again who assured me it will be picked up the same date that the new product is delivered, i.e., ** Nov. Meanwhile, the Flipkart website showed that the replacement product has already been shipped through Blue Dart courier. I contacted Flipkart again on ** Nov since the product was not delivered. I also checked the courier status on the Blue Dart tracking page and found that the number provided was Fake. Since then, I have been contacting Flipkart every day, however, they are unable to provide a guarantee about when the product will be delivered. On being asked about the situation if the replaced product is faulty as well, Flipkart mentioned that I will have to go through the replacement option again. This is unacceptable. With no resolution date in sight, I prefer to receive a refund of the money paid – Rs. *,***/-. This is by no means a small amount to me.
I posted this complaint on the consumer forum on *th Dec and Flipkart contacted me. They were unable to provide a resolution as they could not contact the seller. I told them that I will file a legal case. Since then, there is no response from them. Today (**th Dec) they closed the case stating that they were unable to contact me, which is a blatant lie.
