This vendor is listed on OLX, where he is selling counterfeit products of several different brands.
His user name is The Mobile World.
Quoting COVID as a reason, they have only been accepting pre-paid payments. In order to assure buyers of their authenticity, they send across pictures of original Apple Airpods Pro with the registered serial number. But the end product that gets delivered is a counterfeit copy with a different serial number. They also sent an invoice of the purchase on their shops letter head, mentioning the genuine serial number, which they sent before hand.
They have a shop in Ambala.
They have also shared a driving license in the name of Amit Srivastava. The same name is used for a bank account in Finserve Bank, where I eventually transferred the money.
I have all the conversation, chats and audio files where he has clearly mentioned that it’s an original apple product and is under global warranty, promising the send the product with the same serial number as on the invoice.
After everything, they have been avoiding calls, messages and evading confrontation.
