Subject: Complaint against The Softy Co, Sarath City Capital Mall, for selling unsafe ice cream containing stones  Seeking compensation and corrective action

Respected Sir/Madam,

I, Chaitanya Palla, residing at Khajaguda, am writing this letter to lodge a formal complaint against The Softy Co located at Sarath City Capital Mall, White Field Road, Kondapur, Hyderabad  ******, for selling contaminated and unsafe food (French Vanilla ice cream), which poses a serious threat to public health.

On the date *nd June ****, I visited The Softy Co outlet at the mentioned location and ordered French Vanilla ice cream. While consuming the ice cream, I discovered hard solid stones embedded in the product. This posed a significant choking hazard and could have resulted in injury. I immediately brought this to the attention of the staff present at the outlet and showed them the stones.

Shockingly, instead of addressing the issue responsibly, the staff took the stones and threw them away, disregarding them as evidence. They did not acknowledge the seriousness of the complaint nor provided any assurance or explanation. Their indifferent and negligent behavior was unacceptable, especially considering that many children consume this ice cream, and such contamination could result in serious injuries or health issues.

I am deeply disturbed by this experience and concerned about public safety. Therefore, I kindly request the Honble Forum to:

*. Initiate an inquiry into the food safety and hygiene practices of The Softy Co at Sarath City Capital Mall.


*. Direct the company to compensate me for mental distress and potential health risk.


*. Issue strict instructions to the outlet to ensure such incidents do not recur.


*. Impose penalties/fines if necessary, to discourage such negligence in the future.
